Pulse Heart Institute at MultiCare Health System is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist III to support diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic procedures. You will assist in keeping patient comfort and safety a priority while delivering high-quality cardiovascular care.

The role involves direct patient care under RN supervision, equipment handling, and accurate documentation in a busy Cath Lab/EP setting. A strong focus on safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist certification or Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or enrolled in an Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist program and expected to obtain within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the direction of the Cardiac Cath Lab/EP RN.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable procedure room environment.
• Complete Cath Lab documentation.
• Assemble, disassemble, and operate specialty equipment.

Education

Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist certification or Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist and RCIS eligibility/6-month commitment to obtain

FTE: 1.0 , Shift: Days; 4 x 10 hour shifts + Call, Schedule: Variable days Monday-Friday to meet FTE with variable start times 0600-0800 per department needs.

Position Summary

The Cardiovascular Technologist III is a crucial role on the MultiCare Pulse Heart Institute team, responsible for providing technical support during a variety of diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures. In this role, you will ensure quality care, with a focus on the comfort and well-being of patient and family.

Responsibilities

• You will perform direct patient care activities under the direction of the Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Registered Nurse
• You will maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment in assigned procedure room
• You will perform required Cath Lab specific documentation
• You will assemble, disassemble, and operate specialty equipment

Requirements

• Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist certification or as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or currently enrolled and in second year of an Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist program RCIS or commitment to obtain within 6 months of employment
• Current AHA, BLS and ACLS CPR certifications at time of hire Note: All staff have the opportunity and are encouraged to use the Computer Based Cath Lab Orientation 12 week module program as a tool to become registry ready Proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MultiCare Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $47.25 - $78.09 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
