Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our cardiovascular team and make a difference for our patients and our community.

The Cardiovascular Technologist works directly with the cardiologist, nurse, and other staff during cardiac interventional and electrophysiology procedures. This position provides a safe environment, coordinates patient care communication, and takes call with a 30-minute callback time.

Qualifications

• Must complete a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program or the ARRT-equivalent, or hold an associate/bachelor's degree in a health science-related field.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification within six months of hire.
• ARRT certification and registration or RCIS/RCES (or obtained within 20 months of hire).
• Must live within a 30-minute call back time.

Responsibilities

• Works directly with the cardiologist, nurse, and staff during cardiac interventional and electrophysiology procedures as a scrub or monitor.
• Coordinates, communicates, interprets, and explains patient care services to patients, families, health professionals and others.
• Supports a safe, therapeutic environment and maintains sterile technique during procedures.

Education

JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program or ARRT-equivalent OR health science degree
