Job summary

UF Health in Tampa seeks a dedicated Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to provide patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, circulating, scrubbing, and recording procedures for adult interventional, heart failure, and pulmonary services.

Qualified candidates hold an AS degree in Cardiovascular Technology or Radiologic Technology, with RCIS or ARRT CI/VI/R registration, current ACLS/BLS, and won't operate vehicles.

Qualifications

• AS degree from Cardiovascular Technology program.
• RCIS credential required if Cardiovascular track.
• ARRT CI/VI/R registration required if Radiologic track.
• Current ACLS/BLS certifications.
• Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate patient care in Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Circulate, scrub, and record interventional procedures for adults.
• Operate relevant medical equipment and software per protocol.

Operates appropriate medical equipment and software and interacts professionally with customers and staff. Qualifications:

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

• AS Degree from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program
• OR AS Degree from accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.

Licensure/Certification/Registration :

• If incumbent/candidate has an AS Degree from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program, must be credentialed by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
• If incumbent/candidate has an AS Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program, must possess the Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI), Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) or Radiography (R) Registration Category issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• The CI registration is the preferred registration.
• Current ACLS/BLS.
• Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose
