Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center in Columbia, MD seeks a Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist to perform catheterizations, arteriograms, pacemaker insertions, and related imaging studies using advanced equipment.

The role supports pre- and post-procedure patient care, reviews results, and collaborates with a skilled team to deliver high-quality imaging in a welcoming, diverse environment. Minimum qualifications include an associate degree, ARRT registration, and Maryland licensure.

Competenze

• Associates Degree in radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology preferred.
• ARRT Registration required.

• Cardio Tech I: less than 2 years of invasive procedure support experience; new grads welcome.
• Cardio Tech II: 2+ years of invasive procedure support experience required.

As a Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist, you perform a variety of technical and patient oriented duties during cardiovascular procedures, including, but not limited to cardiac catheterization, pacemaker insertions, arteriograms, venograms, digital subtractions, vascular studies, nephrostograms, angioplasty and other related studies. Equipment utilized may include, but is not limited to monitoring equipment, surgical instruments, cardiac output machine, pulse oximeter, ECG machine, intra-aortic balloon pump, cine film processor and viewer, etc. The Cardiovascular Tech performs invasive procedures, ECG's, monitors patients during procedures, prepares test results and data for review. Assists with pre and post procedure management of patients according to Lab guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology or a related field preferred
• ARRT Registration
• Licensed by the Maryland Board of Physicians
• Cardio Tech I -- Less than 2 years of experience in assisting with minimally invasive, image-guided medical procedures required. New grads are encouraged to apply.
• Cardio Tech II -- 2 or more years of experience in assisting with minimally invasive, image-guided medical procedures require.

Salary Range:

Minimum 42.33/hour - Maximum 69.88/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
