Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is a teaching hospital trauma center, neonatal intensive care unit, and home to the Johns Hopkins Burn Center, the only adult burn trauma center in Maryland, with about 420 beds.

Our Cardiovascular Lab, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment recently renovated in January 2021, offers many resources and cutting-edge technology to provide excellent patient care.

As a Cardiovascular Tech, you would assist physicians with cardiac catheterization procedures including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions such as Cardiac Cath (Right and Left heart cath), stent deployment, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump Insertion, and Transcutaneous Pacemaker Wire placement. You would also assist with IVUS/FFR studies to evaluate blood flow in arteries.

NEW GRADUATES: This role is suitable for a radiology technologist who has completed an AMA-accredited School of Radiologic Technology or holds an AA Degree in Radiology. You will have opportunities to learn Stress Testing Procedures and Nuclear Medicine Studies. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a teamwork approach, and a willingness to learn.

Minimum Qualifications

• Completion of two years of occupationally specific education in an AMA-accredited School of Radiology or an AA in Radiology
• Minimum of one (1) year previous experience; NEW GRADUATES encouraged to apply
• ARRT (R) or RCIS registration required
• Maryland Radiology License through Maryland Board of Physicians
• BLS required upon hire
• ACLS required within 3 months of employment

Shift: Daytime | Full Time (40 hours) | On-call rotation required based on department needs
