HCA Florida Brandon Hospital in Brandon, FL is seeking a Cardiovascular Technician PRN to join the Cardiac Cath Lab team. You will assist physicians during complex cardiac and vascular procedures, support patients and families, and help operate and maintain advanced lab equipment.

This role emphasizes patient comfort, safety, and teamwork, with opportunities to advance skills in angiograms, angioplasties, stent placements, and post-procedure care in a high‑quality, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support may be required within 30 days of start date.
• Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Relevant clinical experience in cardiac cath lab environments.

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Preparing and supporting patients and families before, during, and after procedures.
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment for safe treatment.
• Monitoring patient responses and maintaining a sterile environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• High School Graduate / GED
• Paramedic, (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner, or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
• 2 years experience Required Years of Experience
