Job summary

HCA Florida Englewood Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our patient‑focused cardiovascular team. You will assist physicians during complex cardiac procedures and deliver high‑quality care in a state‑of‑the‑art lab.

Ideal candidates hold ACLS and BLS certifications with clearance within 30 days of hire and possess licensure as EMT, RN, RCIS, RRT/RCP, RVT, or RCIS according to role requirements.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Provisional licensure options include EMT-State, RN, RCIS, RRT/RCP-State, RVT, or RCIS

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (EMT-State) Emergency Medical Technician, or (RN) Registered Nurse, or (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner, or (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician, or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
