Mercy in Springfield, MO is seeking a Cardiovascular Technician to perform electrocardiograms (EKGs), apply and process cardiac monitors, and support daily clinical and administrative operations.

The role requires high attention to detail, strong communication with physicians and patients, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment. A High School Diploma and BLS certification are required, with full-time daytime hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform and record EKGs accurately.
• Apply cardiac monitors and educate patients on use.
• Identify cardiac rhythms and monitor abnormalities.
• Maintain logs of diagnostic tracings and monitor reports.
• Communicate monitor results with physicians.
• Prepare patients for examinations and document vital signs.
• Assist with patient flow and chart preparation.
