Job summary

Abrazo Biltmore Cardiology in Chandler, AZ seeks a Cardiovascular Technician to perform treadmill and pharmacological stress testing, EKGs, ABIs, and Holter monitoring. You will maintain electronic records and interact with patients and physicians to ensure timely follow-up.

Requirements include a high school diploma, CMA program completion, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Prior cardiology clinic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED and CMA program completed.
• Certified EKG or Cardiographic Stress Testing course completed.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications held.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress testing including treadmill and pharmacological tests.
• Conduct Treadmill and Pharmacological Stress testing, Stress ECHO, ABI's, and Holter monitors.
• Manage Holter Monitor application and maintain electronic records.
• Perform Resting EKG and ABI testing.
• Record patient vital signs and maintain clinical charting.
• Maintain files, update computer data, and run charges on tests.
• Communicate with patients, physicians, and hospital personnel for timely follow-up.
• Relay and retrieve TTM reports to designated physicians.
• Monitor and respond to tasks daily, document status in the EMR.
• Assist with phone calls, report distribution, and department statistics.

• Perform stress testing including treadmill and pharmacological tests, ankle brachial index testing and Holter monitor applications.
• Conduct job duties in accordance with TPR policies, compliance procedures, and patient confidentiality.
• Perform Treadmill and Pharmacological Stress testing, Stress ECHO, ABI's, and Holter monitors.
• Manage Holter Monitor application and maintain associated electronic records.
• Perform Resting EKG and ABI testing.
• Record patient vital signs and maintain accurate clinical charting.
• Maintain files, update computer data, and run charges on all tests.
• Communicate with patients, physicians, and hospital personnel to ensure timely follow-up.
• Relay and retrieve TTM reports to and from designated physicians promptly.
• Monitor and respond to tasks daily, documenting current status in the EMR.
• Assist with additional duties including phone calls, report distribution, and department statistics.
• HS Diploma/GED, completion of Certified Medical Assistant program and completion of a certified EKG certification or Certified Cardiographic Stress Testing course.
• Preferred Educati Education on: Successful completion of arrhythmia, 12 lead EKG certification exam and ACLS certification or Certified Cardiographic course with ACLS certifications.
• Certification : Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience: One year experience in Cardiographic Tech or one to two years' cardiology clinic experience.
• Preferred Experience: Prior experience as a Medical Assistant, stress treadmill and stress pharmacological experience.
