Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.
• High School Graduate or GED.
• Vocational School Graduate.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery - Certified (TS-C).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a surgical setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize the surgical suite with instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Assist with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Scrub in and assist the surgeon by providing instruments and handling specimens.
• Monitor equipment and patient status during procedures and take action as needed.
• Maintain sterile field, ensure thorough room turnover and support a collaborative team.
