AdventHealth in Rome, GA is hiring a Surgical Technologist to support the operating room. You will scrub, gown, and glove, set up sterile tables, count instruments with the circulator, pass tools to surgeons, and maintain sterile technique during procedures.

This full-time, day-shift role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and requires BLS and CST or LPN/LVN credentials, plus appropriate education. Address: 501 Redmond Rd NW, Rome, GA 30165.

Formación

• 1+ year of surgical tech experience preferred.
• Associate degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required; Technical/Vocational training required.

Job Description

Sign On Bonus: $10,000 for eligible candidates

Work Schedule: Full time, Days, Four 9-hour shifts. Call Required

• Checks supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures.
• Scrubs, gowns, and gloves for surgical procedures.
• Sets up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for procedures, displaying knowledge of procedure and patient positioning.
• Performs appropriate counts with circulator prior to the operation and before the incision is closed.
• Gowns and gloves surgeon and assistants.
• Passes instruments and supplies to surgeon during procedures.
• Maintains the highest standard of sterile technique during procedures.
• Prepares sterile dressings and cleans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization.
• Handles surgical specimens with 100% accuracy.
• Recognizes and responds immediately to emergency situations appropriately.

Pay Range

$20.23 - $37.64
