Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe is seeking a cardiovascular PA/NP to provide support to a busy cardiothoracic surgeon and the hospital's cardiac service line in Conroe, TX. The incoming PA/NP will also support the hospital's cardiac service line and may consider new grads with cardiothoracic interests.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• Ability to obtain or maintain an active Texas medical license.
• New grad PAs or NPs will be considered if they have strong cardiothoracic interest or experience.

Responsibilities

• See consults & established/post-operative patients.
• Conduct pre-rounding.
• Testing/lab follow up.
• Review patients' medications.
• Able to remove chest tubes/pacer wires.
• Schedule surgeries.
• Speak to families to address any questions or concerns.
