Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center Torrance is seeking a full-time Cardiovascular Surgery physician assistant to join our team. The role involves assisting in surgeries, performing rounds, managing patient care, and supporting complex cardiac cases.

Candidates should have 2+ years of first assisting in open-heart surgery and cardiovascular surgery experience. RNFA certification/licensure is required for Nurse Practitioners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of 1st assisting in open-heart surgery required.
• Cardiovascular surgery experience required.
• RNFA license required for Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgeries and rounding, provide patient care and complete stress tests.
• Support complex cardiac cases and contribute to postoperative care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and coordinate with the surgical team.
