Job summary

Billings Clinic is seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for the Cardiovascular Surgery service in Billings, MT. Under physician supervision, you will provide medical care within your licensure and expertise.

The position offers a Day shift, Full-Time status (≥ .75 FTE) with starting wage DOE and comprehensive benefits. You will support diagnostic testing, treatment planning, and patient care coordination in a tertiary referral center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program.
• Current NCCPA Board Certification/License as Physician Assistant.
• Approved to practice as a physician assistant in Montana or Wyoming by Board of Medical Examiners.
• Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program.
• Current Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Approved to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Montana and/or Wyoming.
• License as an advanced practice nurse.
• Current Montana and/or Wyoming license as a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Examines patients and performs comprehensive physical examination, compiles patient medical data.
• Administers or orders diagnostic tests and differentiates normal/abnormal results.
• Performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care and managing infections.
• Formulates diagnosis, develops and monitors patient care plans, records progress notes and ensures continuity of care.

Education

Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program

Current NCCPA Board Certification/License as Physician Assistant

Approved to practice as a physician assistant in Montana or Wyoming by Board of Medical Examiners

Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program

Current Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner

Approved to practice as a Nurse Practitioner with a current Montana and/or Wyoming Board of Nursing

License as an advanced practice nurse

Current Montana and/or Wyoming license as a Registered Nurse
