Job summary
AMN Healthcare is seeking a Cardiovascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) for locum tenens coverage in Jackson, Tennessee. The provider will assist the cardiovascular surgeon during bypass procedures and vein harvesting in an inpatient setting.
Call-only schedule with weekday coverage and occasional weekend call; OR cases start at 7am and continue until finished. Active Tennessee license or IMLC is required, BLS and ACLS certifications requested; Epic EMR used for
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required
- Inpatient setting experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist the cardiovascular surgeon during bypass surgery
- Support vein harvesting
- Provide inpatient perioperative care and coordination
