Shasta Regional Medical Center, a 226-bed acute care facility and a proud member of Prime Healthcare, seeks a Cardiovascular Surgeon to join our award‑winning team. You will work under Shasta Regional Medical Group with a 3 Weeks ON / 1 Week OFF schedule and call rotation.

The center offers a wide range of cardiovascular services and a values‑driven culture. Responsibilities include performing cardiothoracic procedures (TAVR, da VINCI, CABG, AVR, MVR, AAA) and contributing to patient-centered

• Cardiothoracic surgery experience including TAVR, DAVINCI, CABG, AVR, MVR and AAA.

Responsibilities

Position Details:

• Cardiovascular Surgeon
• Will be employed under Shasta regional Medical Group hospital owned multi-specialty medical group.
• Work Schedule: 3 Weeks ON 1 Week OFF Must be available during their ON to go to the hospital
• Call Schedule: 3 Weeks ON 1 WEEK OFF
• Cardiothoracic surgery, TAVR, davinci, CABG, AVR, MVR & Triple AAA
• A sign-On bonus and relocation allowance will also be given.

Shasta Regional Medical Center offers the following cardiac services: (1) WATCHMAN procedure for people with atrial fibrillation not caused by a heart valve problem. (2) CardioMEMS System heart failure monitoring device.

Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery Program: (1) Coronary artery bypass grafting (2) Valve repair and replacement (3) Aorta repair (4) Thoracic procedures (5) Vascular procedures (6) Off-pump (OPCAB) bypass surgery.

Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status, i.e. full-time or part-time. The current compensation range for this role is $$462,460-$649,347. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
