UNC Health Johnston Health cardiology team is seeking a skilled ultrasound technologist to perform comprehensive cardiac ultrasound imaging and vascular studies across inpatient and OR settings. Role includes pre/post‑procedure patient care, room setup, data entry, and on-call coverage.
Minimum education: associate degree or 12‑month ultrasound program; ARDMS/CCI certification or eligibility within 1 year. Onsite, 40 hours/week in Clayton, NC; salary commensurate with experience.

Summary:
Employs radiologic sciences technology to perform a variety of patient care, technical, and diagnostic tasks targeted to the care of patients with cardiovascular disease. Major tasks include ultrasound imaging, patient preparation and post procedure care, procedure room set-up and cleaning, technical reporting, and quality monitoring.
