Syneos Health is seeking a Cardiovascular Sales Representative (CSR) to achieve or exceed sales goals within an assigned geography while operating in a compliant and ethical manner. The role develops territory strategies, builds relationships with targeted physicians, and collaborates with cross‑functional teams.

The CSR will navigate a complex, matrixed selling environment, use data insights to inform decisions, and manage a territory budget while executing brand tactics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field is required.
  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
  • 2+ years of cardiovascular/cardiometabolic experience preferred.
  • Experience in highly managed, payer-controlled markets is preferred.
  • Track record of top-tier sales accomplishments.
  • Experience calling on targets in the designated territory.
  • Experience launching products in competitive markets.
  • Able to absorb complex scientific information and communicate effectively.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong CRM, AI tools, and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and/or exceed targeted sales goals in an assigned territory by developing, implementing and executing an integrated territory business plan.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians to maximize new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners including FRMs, TLLs, Market Access, Medical, Marketing and Operations.
  • Identify key influencers and achieve designated interaction expectations.
  • Use data tools and insights to determine strategies and tactics for business decision-making.
  • Demonstrate account-based selling skills (including group presentations).
  • Plan and organize activities for regular and consistent territory coverage.
  • Manage territory budget to support sales and marketing activities.
  • Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
  • Execute brand strategy and tactics within the geographic area.
  • Participate in training and development programs.
  • Comply with all legal, regulatory and compliance policies with integrity.

The Cardiovascular Sales Representative (CSR) is responsible for achieving or exceeding sales goals within an assigned geography while operating in a compliant and ethical manner. This role develops and executes territory strategies, identifies customer needs, and drives results. Using strong analytical skills, the CSR evaluates regional market data to build and implement strategic territory business plans, foster lasting professional relationships, and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional partners. The ideal candidate has strong business acumen, is resourceful, self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and collaborative.


Responsibilities


  • Achieve and/or exceed targeted sales goals in an assigned territory by developing, implementing and executing an integrated territory business plan encompassing key customers and accounts with the goal of maximizing sales.

  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians to maximize new business opportunities.

  • Achieve success in a complex, matrixed selling environment in which the need for collaboration and cross‑functional discipline is critical. Cross‑functional partners may consist of FRMs, TLLs, Market Access, Medical, Marketing and Operations colleagues.

  • Identify key influencers and achieve designated customer interaction expectations with a focus on top target customers.

  • Use data tools and insights, and other informational sources such as next best action, to determine strategies and tactics for business decision‑making.

  • Demonstrate account‑based selling skills (including group presentations, etc.).

  • Plan and organize activities to ensure regular and consistent coverage of the territory according to a plan of action.

  • Manage territory budget to support sales and marketing activities.

  • Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner.

  • Execute the company’s brand strategy and tactics within their assigned geographic area.

  • Participation in training and development programs.

  • Comply with all legal, regulatory and compliance policies and demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism at all times.

  • Additional duties as required.


Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Business or a related field required.

  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.

  • 2+ years of cardiovascular/cardiometabolic strongly preferred.

  • Experience in highly managed, payor‑controlled markets is strongly preferred.

  • Consistent track record of documented top‑tier sales accomplishments.

  • Experience calling on assigned targets in the designated territory geography highly desired.

  • Experience launching products in competitive marketplace.

  • Ability to learn complex scientific information, apply technical proficiency and effectively communicate.

  • Must be self‑motivated and able to work with a high level of autonomy and independence.

  • Strong technical & analytical skills including proficiency with CRM, AI tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • A valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel.


The annual base salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $130,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include a company car or car allowance and eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
