Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular unit (6E LAN). You will deliver nursing care within the unit, following hospital policies, standards of care and nursing process guidelines to support patient safety and outcomes.

Requirements include a Michigan RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, ACLS within six months, and one year of nursing experience preferred. Pediatric/PALS and TNCC/NRP requirements may apply. Full-time, day shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Michigan RN license.
• ACLS required within six months for Critical Care/ED roles.
• NRP for Labor/Delivery; PALS for Pediatrics; TNCC within one year for ED.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care within the unit following hospital policies and standards of care.
• Assesses patients, documents response to plan of care, and takes corrective action.
• Plans and implements the patient’s plan of care and provides patient teaching.
• Oversees all ancillary personnel for technical tasks.
