Qualifications

• PhD, MD, or MD/PhD or equivalent doctoral degree; scholarly achievement and sustained extramural funding expected for appointment at Associate Professor or Professor.
• Academic rank and tenure status commensurate with experience and qualifications.
• Background checks as per university policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an independent, externally funded research program.
• Develop interdisciplinary collaborations across the Department of Medicine and Penn State College of Medicine.
• Mentor graduate students, postdocs, and junior faculty.
• Contribute to the growth of the Department's research enterprise.
