Job summary

The Staff Nurse at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital provides comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle, applying nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate each patient’s care. Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing; required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year hospital experience for PRN positions preferred.
• RN license in Georgia required; NLC/eNCL multistate license accepted.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to maintain quality nursing care.
• Maintain standards of practice and adhere to organizational policies.
