Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Grand Blanc, Michigan, is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant in the Cardiovascular Unit to support patient-centered care during nights.

Under RN supervision, you will perform selected care tasks, assist with daily activities, maintain a safe and compassionate environment, and ensure compliance with HIPAA/OSHA. Prior direct care experience is preferred, and BLS certification is required within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Certification must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or Canadian equivalent.
• Prior direct care experience preferred.
• CENA training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs specific patient care interventions as delegated by the RN to identify/attain treatment goals.
• Delivers compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families.
• Provides physical support for daily activities and personal hygiene.
• Ensures compliance with health care regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
• Maintains safe and clean environment and follows infection-control policies.
• Performs other related job duties as requested.

Education
