Job summary

Syneos Health, Inc. seeks a Medical Science Liaison to provide objective scientific information to Key Contacts in Columbus, OH. You will build relationships with medical and scientific leaders and translate data into real-world clinical practice.

The role requires advancing disease-state knowledge across cardiovascular or other specialties and collaborating with field colleagues to support internal and external activities. On-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree required (PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA) preferred.
• 2+ years of MSL experience preferred.
• Experience in cardiovascular, or other specialty therapeutic areas preferred, with ability to quickly develop disease-state, clinical and scientific expertise.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, informative, fair-balanced and compliant scientific responses to medical information requests from Key Contacts.
• Medical and subject area expert to internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish, cultivate, and maintain scientific relationships with stakeholders while developing understanding of clinical practice as it relates to areas of interest for our client.
• Integrate scientific data into real life practice to meet customer needs and adapt communication styles.
• Participate in developing a customer-centric tactical engagement plan to support Medical Affair’s strategies.
• Maintain scientific knowledge base through continuous learning and awareness of related literature.
• Collaborate with field-based Medical colleagues, appropriate Commercial colleagues, and the broader organization to provide scientific expertise.
• Respond to unsolicited scientific inquiries of HCPs/investigators/health care systems with data including real world evidence.
