Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to engage with medical and scientific leaders, providing fair, objective, and compliant information to Key Contacts. You will contribute clinical data and real-world evidence to support patient care and healthcare advancement.

The MSL will build scientific relationships with stakeholders, translate complex data for clinical practice, and collaborate across field-based teams to support Medical Affairs strategies and compliant communications.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a scientific/clinical field (PharmD/PhD/MD/NP/PA) preferred.
• 2+ years of MSL experience preferred.
• Experience in cardiovascular or other specialty therapeutic areas preferred.
• Strong scientific & clinical acumen.
• Ability to translate complex scientific data for varied audiences.
• Drive for self-development, collaboration, and an action-oriented work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, compliant scientific responses to medical information requests from Key Contacts.
• Act as a medical/scientific expert to internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain scientific relationships with stakeholders and understand clinical practice related to areas of interest for the client.
• Integrate scientific data into real-world practice to meet customer needs.
• Participate in developing a customer-centric tactical engagement plan for Medical Affairs strategies.
• Maintain current scientific knowledge to enable meaningful scientific exchange.
• Collaborate with field-based Medical colleagues and broader organization to share insights.
• Respond to unsolicited scientific inquiries from HCPs/investigators and integrate real-world evidence.

You'll confer with internal stakeholders and build new collaborative relationships with medical and scientific leaders. You'll contribute cutting-edge clinical and scientific data to help move healthcare forward and positively impact patients.

The Medical Science Liaison will be responsible for providing fair balanced, objective, scientific information and appropriate product education to Key Contacts in compliance with all policies and regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide clear, informative, fair-balanced and compliant scientific responses to medical information requests from Key Contacts.
• Medical and subject area expert to internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish, cultivate, and maintain scientific relationships with stakeholders while developing a strong understanding of clinical practice as it relates to areas of interest for our client
• Integrate scientific data into real life practice to meet customer/audience needs, adapting interpersonal style to particular situations and people
• Participate in the development of a customer-centric tactical engagement plan to support Medical Affair's strategies
• Maintain scientific and clinical knowledge base through continuous learning and awareness of related scientific literature to enable meaningful scientific exchange
• Collaborate with field based Medical colleagues, appropriate Commercial colleagues, and the broader organization to provide scientific expertise and share Medical insights in support of internal and external activities
• Respond to unsolicited scientific inquiries of Health Care Providers (HCPs)/investigators/health care systems/academic medical centers and treatment team members integrating scientific data including real world evidence into real life practice to meet customer needs

Requirements:

Along with your ability to remain at the forefront of your field, you must possess:

• Advanced scientific degree Required (PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA) preferred
• 2 + years of MSL experience preferred
• Experience in cardiovascular, or other specialty therapeutic areas preferred, with a demonstrated ability to quickly develop disease-state, clinical, and scientific expertise in new therapeutic areas.
• Strong scientific & clinical acumen
• Ability to quickly understand and translate complex scientific data and realize the potential impact of that data on clinical practice and potential research needs
• The drive for self-development, the ability to collaborate, and an action-oriented work ethic
