Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN preferred and valid RN license.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification and ACLS upon hire.
• At least 1 year CV Lab or Critical Care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatrics in the surgical/cardiovascular setting.
• Communicate with physicians about patient condition as needed.
• Assist with equipment and inventory maintenance.
• Assess room/equipment readiness and operation prior to procedures.
• Obtain supplies for cases and support Cardiovascular Lab team needs.
• Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during procedures.
• Record patient condition continuously in the lab.
• Participate in performance and quality improvement activities.
