Baptist Health in Lexington, KY is seeking a Cardiovascular Lab-RN for a Full Time, First Shift role. You will perform direct patient care in the Noninvasive Lab, supporting physicians in diagnosing and managing cardiovascular conditions and aiding the Cardiac Rehab program.

This position requires active RN licensure in Kentucky, a nursing degree (Bachelor’s or Associate), BLS, and department-specific ACLS/PALS/NRP training. On-call weekends/holidays rotate to ensure continuous patient care.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
• BLS certification required; must obtain within 30 days if not already certified.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and dysrhythmia training as required by department.

Full Time I First Shift

$15,000 Sign on Bonus for qualified individuals.

The Noninvasive Lab is a specialized department within a healthcare facility dedicated to performing diagnostic tests and supporting improved quality of life for patients. This unit, composed of registered nurses, nuclear medicine technicians, sonographers, and exercise physiologists, provides high-quality care to assist physicians in diagnosing, managing, and treating cardiovascular conditions. Additionally, our Cardiac Rehab program helps patients recover and improve their heart health following a cardiac event.

Description

• Assessment of patients' needs.
• Development of patient care plans.

• Operating Room Nurses provide care and support to patients before, during and after surgery.
• Clinical decision-making incorporates all four phases of the nursing process, critical thinking and creativity.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
• Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
• Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor's degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. If not already certified, applicants must obtain BLS within 30 days of their hire date.
