Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Accredited Radiology School.
• Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Supports interventional imaging planning and execution to department standards.
• Greet patients and facilitate their department experience.
• Report equipment failures immediately.
• Under supervision, provide direct patient care to support imaging services.
• Assist patient with gowning and transfer to exam table.
• Coordinate inpatient department flow via communication with staff.
• Assess patient comfort needs and provide support.
• Escort patients to/from the procedure suite and assist with arrival/departure.
• Promote teamwork among technical, support, nursing, residents and staff.
• Engage in problem solving and system improvements for efficiency.
• Maintain confidentiality of Protected Health Information.
