Job summary

Emanate Health in West Covina, CA seeks a Radiologic Technologist specialized in Cardiac Cath Lab to perform cardiovascular imaging under cardiologist guidance.

You will operate fluoroscopy equipment, assist with procedures, ensure equipment readiness, participate in QA/PI activities, and support staff and patients through the imaging process. California ARRT license, BLS, and a CA Fluoroscopy permit within 6 months are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology or Military education for x-ray procedures.
• AS degree preferred.
• Two years radiology technologist experience; Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred.
• Current California Radiology Technology license and ARRT registration; BLS; Fluoroscopy permit within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic cardiovascular procedures using ionizing radiation under cardiologist direction.
• Assist cardiologists in all procedures and in emergency situations.
• Maintain cardiac cath lab equipment and inventory; assist with room prep.
• Contribute to PI and QA activities and education of staff.
