Job summary

The University of Miami/UHealth offers a one-year Cardiovascular Advanced Imaging Fellowship designed to deepen expertise in cardiac imaging, including MRI, CT, and echocardiography. The program provides hands-on training in state-of-the-art imaging technologies and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Fellows gain experience interpreting imaging for complex cardiovascular diseases, pursue clinical and translational research, and contribute to publications while working with a diverse team of

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree required.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Radiology, or other relevant specialty.
• Licensure: Must be eligible for licensure in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily clinical practice with a multidisciplinary team, interpreting advanced cardiovascular imaging modalities.
• Obtain expertise in myocardial perfusion imaging, coronary artery imaging, cardiac function evaluation, and tissue characterization.
• Engage in clinical and translational research projects with faculty and contribute to publications.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, radiologists, and other specialists to develop integrated treatment strategies.
• Participate in didactic teaching sessions, case discussions, and departmental conferences; present at meetings.
• Gain experience in quality assurance and protocol development to ensure accurate imaging results.
