Job summary

Methodist Health System seeks ICU/Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit nurses to deliver complex critical care to high-acuity cardiac and surgical patients. In this role, you’ll perform advanced assessments, manage ventilators and vasoactive drips, interpret telemetry and hemodynamic data, and respond rapidly to changes in patient status.

Collaborate with intensivists, cardiologists, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure evidence-based, patient- and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Nurse with critical care expertise delivering high-acuity care.
• Ability to interpret telemetry and hemodynamic data.
• Experience in managing ventilators and vasoactive infusions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced assessments on cardiac and postoperative patients.
• Manage ventilators and vasoactive drips as ordered by physicians.
• Interpret telemetry and hemodynamic data to detect patient deterioration.
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient status and collaborate with intensivists, cardiologists and surgeons.
