Job summary

Cardiology Center of Houston in Katy, TX is seeking a Full-Time Dual Sonographer to join our cardiology team. This role performs 2-D Echo and Doppler studies and noninvasive vascular evaluations, with a Monday–Friday schedule and no weekends or calls.

Candidates must hold ARDMS or CCI credentials in Adult Echocardiography and Vascular and have at least two years of experience. An Associate degree is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Requires at least two years of experience in echocardiography and vascular studies.
• Credentialed in Adult Echocardiography and Vascular (ARDMS or CCI) is required.
• Associate degree acceptable for education; no bachelor's required.

Responsibilities

• Performs 2-D Echo and Doppler studies.
• Performs noninvasive vascular evaluations as assigned.
• Explains procedures to patients and obtains informed consent.
• Maintains active licensure/certification; adheres to HIPAA and confidentiality.
• Demonstrates teamwork and adheres to safety standards.

Cardiology Center of Houston is in search of a Full-Time Dual Sonographer to join our team in Katy, TX.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs 2-D Echo and Doppler studies.
• Responsible for performing a variety of noninvasive vascular evaluations
• Explains procedures to patients and obtains informed consent from patient.
• Ensures all required licensure/certification always remain active/current.
• Provides excellent customer service and the highest quality patient care.
• At all times protects the confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) of patients per HIPAA regulations; including does not review his/her own record, or records of employees or co-workers without a “need to know”.
• Actively demonstrates teamwork.
• Follows other policies and procedures such that there are no verbal or written warnings during the evaluation period.
• Always adheres to company safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience preferred.
• Credentialed in Adult Echocardiography and Vascular (ARDMS or CCI) is required.
