Job summary

Indiana University Health’s Academic Cardiovascular Director will lead the enhancement of cardiovascular trial infrastructure within IU Health Methodist and across the system. The role focuses on integrating data science, AI, and informatics to advance research and bridge the gap between research and practice in medicine.

The position emphasizes physician-scientist leadership, collaboration with the IU School of Medicine, and coordination of clinical trials expansion in a large teaching hospital

Qualifications

American Board Certification in Non-Invasive/General Cardiology or Heart Failure/Transplantation.
Physician-Scientist with expertise in clinical trial design and implementation.
Expertise in data science, informatics, and Artificial Intelligence required.
Faculty appointment with the IU School of Medicine; clinical rank commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee optimization and expansion of clinical trials infrastructure across the IU Health system.
Lead research infrastructure projects with technology integration and streamlined systems.
Bridge research findings to clinical practice and patient care.
