Job summary

Main Line Health's Lankenau Heart Institute (LHI), located in the western suburbs of Philadelphia, is seeking a Cardiovascular ICU Physician to join our expanding cardiac surgery and critical care team.

This position supports a high-volume, nationally recognized cardiothoracic surgical program and provides care in our 16-bed Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU), offering advanced care for the full spectrum of adult cardiac surgery patients.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Eligible in Critical Care.
• Active Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility.
• Strong clinical background in cardiothoracic critical care.
• Commitment to education, teamwork, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity care for post-operative cardiothoracic surgery patients in a multidisciplinary ICU setting.
• Demonstrate excellent clinical judgment in managing complex cardiac surgical cases.
• Provide 24/7 coverage within a collaborative team of surgeons, PAs, NPs, and critical care nurses.
• Manage patients requiring advanced mechanical circulatory support (ECMO, VAD).
