Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified physician assistant with cardiovascular/cardiothoracic focus.
• Experienced in ICU rounding for post-cardiac surgery patients.
• Able to manage patients coming off ventilators after surgery.
• OR vein harvesting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide locum tenens coverage for day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM).
• Round in the ICU with pre- and post-cardiac surgery patients.
• Care for patients coming off ventilators after procedures.
• Support care for patients exiting the OR after open heart, VATS, and lung cases.
