Job summary

UF Health in New York is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician to perform diversified technical and clinical duties in the catheterization laboratory. You will help maintain sterility, prepare procedure trays and equipment, and work with the team during procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus cardiovascular program training or 10+ years in the invasive cath lab. BLS/ACLS are required; RCIS within 6 months of hire is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; graduate of Cardiovascular Program or 10+ years in invasive cath lab.
• BLS and ACLS required; RCIS within 6 months of hire.
• Strong communication, anatomy knowledge, patient advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Performs diversified technical and clinical responsibilities in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
• Maintain sterility and prepare procedure trays/equipment.
• Proficiently operate cath lab equipment and assist team during procedures.
