Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in Cardiology/Cath Lab is preferred.
• Registered ARRT or RCIS within 18 months of hire is required.
• BLS, ACLS, Fluoroscopy certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support in the cardiac catheterization laboratory during invasive cardiovascular procedures.
• Provides patient care under the supervision of the RN.
• Assists physicians in radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Acts as scrub assistant, maintaining sterile conditions during procedures.
• Operates imaging equipment and monitors procedure images and events.
• Educates patients and families regarding the procedure and expectations.
