Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a fellowship-trained Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Radiologist to join our growing radiology group on the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. The position is onsite in Cleveland, Ohio, with potential for hybrid roles and a strong emphasis on cardiovascular CT and MRI.

Expect a 50/50 case mix of cardiac and aorta/vascular work, with opportunities for moonlighting, leadership, and interdisciplinary collaboration with radiology and cardiology colleagues.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited radiology residency.
  • Fellowship training in Cardiovascular or Cardiothoracic Radiology.
  • Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Radiology.
  • Medical license or eligibility to obtain a license in the state of Ohio.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret diagnostic imaging in cardiovascular and vascular cases.
  • Collaborate with radiology and cardiology teams.
  • Train house staff and participate in meetings, research, and innovation.
  • Support moonlighting program and potential leadership roles.

POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Case Mix: Approximately50%Cardiac and 50% aorta/vascularcases, with thepotential to contribute part time in Thoracic radiology, or general radiology for moonlighting.
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday,7:30a.m.-5:00 p.m.
  • CallCoverage:may beremote, modestvolume-averaging6 weeksper year, withstrong supportfroma separatenight radiology team.
  • Moonlighting: Access toCleveland Clinicinternal moonlighting program, offering flexibility to workadditionalshiftsremotely withnorequired commitment.Potential opportunities in cardiovascular,thoracic,and general radiology.

InCleveland,the Cleveland Clinichealthcare systemincludes 14 regional hospitals and isanchored bythe Main Campushospital, one of the largest teaching hospitals inOhioandan internationalreferral center.

  • Theincoming Radiologist will collaborate with a seasoned group of subspecialists
  • The section is co-run and staffed by Radiology and Cardiology witha 20-year history of collaboration.
  • The role includes expert interpretation of diagnostic imaging and clinical consultations,interactions with section technologists and nursing,as well as training of house staff.

COMPENSATION:

The salary range for this position is$540-700k.Thismay vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications,hours ofmoonlighting,etc. In addition to this range,Cleveland Clinicoffers competitive total rewards packages.
