Job summary

Aura Health seeks Cardiovascular Anesthesiology Physicians to provide locum tenens support in Texas. You will perform anesthesia for cardiac, trauma, neurosurgery, GI, oncology, orthopedics, general surgery, and bariatrics in a flexible, on-site schedule with on-call requirements including weekends and overnight shifts.

The ideal candidate is Board Certified or Board Eligible, with Cardiac Fellowship or Transesophageal Echocardiography certification preferred and holds an active Texas license or

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Cardiac Fellowship or Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) certification preferred.
• Active Texas medical license or eligibility through IMLC.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for cardiac, trauma, NICU, GI, neurosurgery, oncology, orthopedics, general surgery and bariatric cases.
• Manage anesthesia care with a flexible on-site schedule and call duties.
• Include weekends and overnight shifts as part of on-call requirements.
