Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA seeks a Cardiovascular Anesthesia Technologist to support the cardiac surgery team. You will prepare, operate and maintain anesthesia equipment, monitor patients, and ensure a sterile, safe theater environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a science-related field or graduation from an accredited cardiovascular technology program, and BLS certification. Prior CSS/sterile processing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science-related field or graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technology program (REQUIRED).
• BLS Certification Required.
• Prior CSS, sterilization, or central sterile processing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, operate and maintain anesthesia equipment for cardiovascular procedures.
• Monitor patients and assist anesthesiologists and surgical teams in high‑pressure settings.
• Maintain a sterile and safe operating environment throughout procedures.
