Job summary

Novartis invites applications for a Data Science & AI Innovation Fellow in Cambridge, MA, focused on multimodal AI to integrate ECG, genomic, and proteomic data for cardiovascular disease research. Qualifications

• PhD (or equivalent doctoral degree) completed prior to start date.
• Record of scientific achievement (publications, presentations, patents).
• Strong quantitative background in data science, statistics, machine learning or related field.
• Programming proficiency in Python and/or R; experience with large-scale datasets.
• Independent work and collaboration in a multidisciplinary research environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply multimodal AI/ML models to integrate ECG, genomic, and proteomic data for cardiovascular research.
• Analyze large-scale multimodal datasets from biobanks, clinical studies, and real-world data.
• Design, implement, and evaluate predictive interpretable models linking signals with genetic variation.
• Collaborate with data scientists, geneticists, clinicians, and researchers across disciplines.
• Communicate findings through publications, conferences, and internal seminars.
