Creighton University Medical Center, part of CommonSpirit Health, seeks a Cardiothoracic Surgery Unit Advanced Practice Provider to round on hospitalized patients and perform critical cardiovascular assessments in a fast-paced unit.
The role emphasizes teamwork with the Division Chief of Cardiac Surgery and other clinicians to guide care decisions; strong ICU/ Cardiology background and Nebraska licensure are required. The position features a 3/12 shift and comprehensive benefits.
As a our Cardiothoracic Surgery Unit Advanced Practice Provider, you will be part a transformative new chapter in Heart Care at Creighton University Medical Center.
Every day you will round on hospitalized patients, providing critical care cardiovascular assessments for patients in pre or post-operative surgery. The clinician will join a growing team working closely with the Division Chief of Cardiac Surgery as well as other members of the physician team, providing necessary information for team-based care decision making.
To be successful in this role, you will have experienced Cardiology or ICU in previous training or past positions. Collaboration, and team approach in working with other members of the critical care team will be essential in the delivery of our exceptional care.
The position is a 3/12 shift model and offers, extremely lucrative pay, 401K, light call, dedicated CME time and money, very generous time off, full health, dental, vision and malpractice insurance.
