Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse with a focus on Cardiothoracic Surgery/Heart Hospital to join our compassionate team. You will support physicians, perform nursing duties in the CT surgery setting, and ensure patient education and safety from pre-op to post-op care.

Graduation from an accredited nursing program and a current Missouri RN license are required; CPR certification within 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Skill in assisting and performing a variety of medical treatments and procedures.
• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Must be able to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and policies.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff and the public.
• Basic computer terminal and keyboard skills to access information and enter clinical data.
