LocumTenens.com, LLC is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Certified Physician Assistant to cover inpatient and operating room services at a Level I facility in Michigan. The assignment runs January through June 2027 and includes day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with weeknight and weekend call.

The clinician will do full-scope inpatient rounding, OR coverage, and collaborate with the surgical team to maintain continuity of care. Board certification and prescriptive authority are required.

Clinicians will provide comprehensive cardiothoracic surgery coverage across inpatient and operating room settings, with day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, weeknight call, and 24-hour weekend call responsibilities. Clinical duties include full-scope inpatient rounding, operating room coverage, and collaboration with the surgical team to maintain continuity of care across the cardiothoracic surgery service line. Three APPs are available in the department to support clinical operations throughout each assigned coverage period. Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery and prescriptive authority are required for consideration.
