Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Act as first assistant in cardiothoracic procedures.
• Provide post-operative care including ICU management.
• Assist in clinic and patient rounds.
• Support arterial/central line placement and venous harvesting as needed.

Position details:

• Position type is Permanent full time
• Patient population birth to geriatrics
• Active Texas License preferred but not mandatory
• Must have a minimum of 2 year of experience
• Responsibilities include first assist, post op care with ICU management, and clinic
• The advanced cardiac department offers minimal invasive procedures, TAVR, CABG, robotic surgery, etc.
• Provider will need to be proficient with arterial and central lines, saphenous vein harvesting and intubation
• Shifts are 8 hours Monday through Friday with 1:3 call
