Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare West seeks a board-certified/eligible cardiothoracic surgeon to lead the cardiothoracic program in West Houston. The role emphasizes robotic thoracic surgery and complex case management, with expectation to serve as the market face of cardiothoracic surgery.

The incoming surgeon should be able to perform advanced procedures in an independent setting and maintain an active Texas medical license. This is a full-time on-site opportunity with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon, or board eligible cardiothoracic surgery fellow.
• Robotics experience in thoracic procedures is strongly preferred.
• Incoming surgeon must be capable of doing complex cases in an independent setting.
• Physician must obtain or maintain an active Texas license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiothoracic and thoracic procedures including robotic-assisted surgeries.
• Provide leadership as the face of cardiothoracic surgery in the West Houston market.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have experience in the field and serve as the face of cardiothoracic surgery in the market, and be skilled in robotic thoracic surgery in addition to being a cardiac surgeon.

Qualified Candidates

• Must be a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon, or board eligible cardiothoracic surgery fellow.


• Both cardiac and thoracic procedures are available.


• Robotics experience in thoracic procedures is strongly preferred.


• The incoming surgeon must be capable of doing complex cases in independent setting.


• Physician must be able to obtain or maintain an active Texas license in good standing.
