Schedule: Call only; beeper call with a 30-minute response time. Call ratio is 1:2.

Practice Setting: Inpatient.

Types of Cases: Thoracic and cardiac surgery; patients include cardiovascular and thoracic surgical cases.

Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days.

Electronic Medical Record: Cerner.

Certifications Required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery/Cardiothoracic Surgery

Licensure Required: South Carolina or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
