Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: $

Schedule: 24‑hour call coverage (7:00 AM–7:00 AM)

Practice Setting: Inpatient

Types of Cases:

• Standard cardiac surgery
• Coronary artery bypass grafting
• Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation cannulation
• Aortic dissections
• Thoracic trauma surgery
• Inpatient and outpatient consults
• Hospital rounds
• Cardiothoracic surgery call coverage

Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days

Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic

Certifications Required:

• Board Certification in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration highly preferred

Licensure Required: Active Nebraska medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Letter of Qualification at submission
