Qualifications

• Vein harvesting certification and Georgia medical licensure are mandatory requirements.
• Prescriptive authority is required for this role and will be exercised as part of CT surgery coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekend cardiothoracic surgery coverage with 24-hour non-restrictive call from Friday through Monday morning.
• Perform patient rounding on the CVICU, consults in ED, and manage all CT surgery-related cases with a 30-minute recall.
• Collaborate with 1 surgeon and 2 APPs using the EPIC EMR system.
