Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) for locum tenens coverage in Texas. The role involves assisting in cardiovascular and thoracic procedures with a Monday–Friday, 40-hour schedule beginning in November 2026.

Candidates must be board certified with BLS through the AHA and hold a Texas PA license; DEA may be required for prescribing. EMR experience with eClinicalWorks is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiothoracic surgical assistance for cases in scope.
• Follow physician orders and manage perioperative patient care.
• Document patient interactions and assist in postoperative care.
