Job summary

LocumTenens.com seeks a Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant for an on-site Missouri assignment. You will cover inpatient and operating room services with first assisting, inpatient rounding, and cardiothoracic procedures, on a Monday-to-Monday rotation every other week.

Prescriptive authority is required; EPIC EMR documentation is standard. Case load is approximately 1 case per day, with night shifts and full 24-hour call responsibilities.

• Prescriptive authority is required for this on-site assignment.
• Case load: 1 case per day.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiothoracic surgery coverage across inpatient and operating room settings.
• Perform first assisting and inpatient rounding for cardiothoracic procedures as scheduled.
• Maintain clinical documentation through the EPIC EMR system.
